Art exhibition with pictures and sculptures by international artists about the life and work of Maria Callas and her favorite composer Giacomo Puccini, including two works by the Bad Salzuflen artist Ippazio Fracasso Baacke and a painting by Redzep Memisevic. While the Greve Gallery and the city of Bad Salzuflen are honoring Maria Callas' 100th birthday with events this year, we are also commemorating the great composer of such well-known operas as Tosca and Madame Butterfly with specially created works on the 100th anniversary of Giacomo Puccini's death on November 29, 2024.
"A Tribute to Callas" is a special "Made in Italy" classical and art format that was created by the Italian soprano Claudia Oddo. On this occasion, the premiere was celebrated in Verona with a concert and an exhibition of international works of art in the Castelvecchio.
Die seinem verstorbenen Lebenspartner Dieter Köhler gewidmete Einzelausstellung "Facetten-Reich" befasst sich ausschließlich mit dem kreativen Schaffen des international bekannten bildenden Künstlers Ippazio Fracasso Baacke. We are pleased to announce the art exhibition "ART BIZARRE", which will take place from January 20th, 2024 from 12:30 p.m. to April 14th, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. in the renowned Greve Gallery in Bad Salzuflen. "ART BIZARRE" presents works by nine outstanding artists who are redefining the boundaries of art with their individual styles and creative approaches - from surreal to grotesque, and in every case original and unusual! The art gallery in the Villa Greve residence offers the ideal setting for this extraordinary exhibition. With its elegant atmosphere and dedication to promoting contemporary art, it is the perfect place to showcase the works of these talented artists. "ART BIZARRE" invites visitors to immerse themselves in a world where the boundaries between reality and fantasy are blurred. The exhibition encompasses a variety of media including painting, sculpture, photography and installations. Each work tells its own story and makes you think.
The art exhibition ESTHETIQUE focuses on GRACE and AESTHETICS. It is intended to form a counterpoint to the feeling of threat and negativity that prevails today. The exhibiting artists, no matter how different their approach and techniques are, are united by a preference for the beautiful and sensual, whether in nude painting and photography, the playful depiction of floral motifs, animal portraits or sculptures. Galerie Greve in der Residenz Villa Greve freut sich, das nächste kulturelle Highlight ankündigen zu können. Vom 10.06.2023 bis 20.08.2023 (geplantes Ende) öffnen sich die Tore zur Ausstellung AUGENBLICKMAL zu den gewohnten Öffnungszeiten. Getreu dem Motto Vielfalt werden auch diesmal mehrere ganz unterschiedliche Künstler und Stilrichtungen zu bewundern sein. Neben Ölgemälden und abstrakten Acrylbildern aktueller Künstler gibt es auch Fotografien der aufstrebenden Salzufler Fotografin Ute Kronshage zu sehen. Den Schwerpunkt bilden die Werke der 2003 verstorbenen avantgardistischen Berliner Malerin Eleonore Lingnau-Kluge und die beeindruckenden Tierportraitzeichnungen der Herforderin Susanne Claesberg. Ihre hochpräzisen Zeichnungen in Coloured Pencil-Technik und die Geschichte dahinter bewegte auch das NDR-Fernsehen zu einer Reportage. Der Kurzfilm wurde am 10. Juni 2023 bei DAS zwischen 18:45 Uhr und 19:30 Uhr ausgestrahlt. Last but not least sind die kreativen Werke aus Recyclingmaterialien des Mailänder Künstlers Mirko Volpi zu bestaunen - und zu erwerben. Die Kunstausstellung wurde mit einer Vernissage am 09. Juni eingeleitet. bei der gut besuchten Veranstaltung hatten die anwesenden Künstler Gelegenheit, sich und ihre Werke näher vorzustellen. Die musikalische Untermalung des Abends erfolgte in bewährter Weise durch das Duo Julio Arancibia (Piano) und Iryna Kichakova (Violine).
Preparations are currently underway for the new exhibition KUNTERBUNT, which will begin with the vernissage on Friday, March 10th, 2023. From 6pm to 7pm the saxophonist Axel Senge will play in front of the gallery. Admission to the art exhibition at 7 p.m., admission is free. The villa is illuminated with colorful light effects throughout the evening. From March 11th, 2023 the gallery will be open at the usual times. The Christmas exhibition starts at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2022. This time, diversity is on the program - 8 different mostly regional artists, different techniques and styles, paintings and sculptures. there is something for everyone - maybe for a nice present for loved ones or for yourself. From 5 p.m. you can strengthen yourself with culinary delights or drink a pot of mulled wine in the courtyard of the gallery.
Iryna Kichakova (violin) and Julio Graf von Arancibia (piano) are two excellent soloists on their instruments. This is the second time you are playing at Galerie Greve after the first concert was a great success. The program was redesigned for this event. Vera Widmer, artist from Oeynhausen exhibits her abstract and experimental works of art on the subject of "Art of Life", "Art against Violence" or "TRAUM-a WORLD" internationally. The artist is currently working on a new series of pictures, which she will present for the first time in a gallery in Bad Salzuflen in October 2022. The images are diverse. It ranges from noble and beautiful to dark and ambiguous. And that is the artistic intention. "The viewer should not only see the surface, he should learn to recognize what is hidden" - says Vera Widmer.

The talented Salzufler native made a name for herself with her performance at the colorful Sat1 music show "All Together Now" on June 16, 2022, where she delighted both the jury and the audience. Her album Jaywalker was only released in May. With her powerful, soulful voice, the singer-songwriter performs her latest works. Alfred Gockel (born 1952 in Lüdinghausen, Westphalia) is a German artist. He deals with painting, printmaking technology and sculpture. In 2006 he designed the official poster for the American Committee for the Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy. He became known for art in public space through the sculpture Yellow Angels at the Kamener Kreuz, the intersection of the A 1 and the A 2. He is now an internationally sought-after artist.
Jos Letschert is a Dutch painter, sculptor and poet. He has been living and working in Germany since 2010. His works of art drawings, paintings and sculptures are in private collections in the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Scotland, the USA and Canada. This exhibition is all about current works of abstract and decorative painting. The pictures captivate with skilful colorful to profound picture compositions. Abstract works by Silke Sturm, Jos Letschert, Jörg Pieper and Christiane Kroniger will be shown. We're also announcing a premiere here. The art world and the digital world are connected via the future-oriented blockchain technology made famous by Bitcoin. We are one of the first galleries in Germany to do this and introduce you to so-called NFTs (non-fungible tokens), i.e. digital counterfeit-proof objects. This promises to be a big hit in Germany too. In other parts of the world, people are already much further along.
